Meg Van Schoorl joined the firm as Director of Project Development to launch a new line of services to offer clients. As Director of Project Development, Meg assists local agencies, nonprofits, and others to take projects from vision to reality. This includes identifying grants opportunities, developing project funding strategies, completing and reviewing grant applications, assisting in grant management and more.
Meg joins GTHGA after retiring from a career in public service, most recently as the Capital Budget Committee Senior Staff Coordinator for the House of Representatives’ Office of Program Research. Meg’s state government career also included staffing House committees focused on community development, economic development, agriculture and trade policy; managing divisions related to local government infrastructure, economic development, and community protection at the Department of Community Development; and, directing international marketing services and funding for businesses at the state Department of Agriculture.
